Description

Spliced cane, partially twined handle. Straight blade with indistinct swell. Toe worn on inner edge. Historic repair on toe. Maker’s mark to toe, face and reverse of blade; retailer’s marks to face and reverse splice; owner’s name to reverse.

This bat was taken to the U.S.A. by Mr Curren when he emigrated there in 1869-70.
