MCC Women first played on the main Ground in 2014, when a squad faced a Rest of the World XI as part of the Club’s bicentenary celebrations, as well as an MCC regional match held in the same year. In 2018, MCC Women’s Day saw Middlesex Women playing on the main Ground for the first time in their club’s history. In 2019, Middlesex faced Surrey in the London Cup, but plans in 2020 had to be put on hold due to the pandemic. In the new Hundred format the two MCC teams – comprised of women’s players from across the country and named MCC Red and MCC Yellow for the purposes of the event - will be playing the 100-ball format for the first time on the main Ground, ahead of Lord’s hosting London Spirit’s men’s and women’s matches when the inaugural tournament begins this summer, as well as The Hundred Finals day. Match 1: 10.30 – 13.00 - MCC Yellow won by 8 wickets. Match 2 : 13.30 – 16.00 - MCC Yellow won by 9 runs. MCC Red Elysa Hubbard (c), Jennie Kitzinger, Georgina Macey, Felicity Bennett, Krishna Shah, Anna Healey, Saba Nasim, Riti Patel, Rosie Pembroke, Sian Price, Marilyn Smith, Melanie Vaggers, Judy Wilmot, Naomi Dattani.
