Description

Black and white photographic group portrait of Yorkshire County Cricket Club in the 1920s. Eleven players and an umpire are standing in a row. All players are wearing cricket whites, seven wear Yorkshire v-neck cableknit sweater with thick dark trim stripe, one wears a plain v-neck sweater, three wear Yorkshire caps with white rose crest on the front, two wear England home caps with crowned three lions crest on the front, two wear MCC tour caps with St. George and dragon crest on the front, one wears a cap with a light and dark stripe, one wears a cap with two thick light coloured stripes and crest on the front, one wears pads. The umpire wears a white umpire overcoat, tie and wide flat cap. Players are standing in front of a pavilion with spectators and players standing on portico.
