Gunn & Moore 'Diamond' cricket bat. Bright blue rubber grip. Royal blue and leaf green decals to front and back. Adhesive protective strip on face. Auction label still attached. Used by Robinson in scoring 166 for England v Pakistan in 1987

Tim Robinson. Nottinghamshire & England 1978-1999. Gunn & Moore 'Diamond' cricket bat used by Robinson in scoring 166 for England v Pakistan in 1987 and 83 [?] runs in the Nottinghamshire v Essex, Benson & Hedges Cup Final in 1989. Robinson was Man of the Match in the Final. Previously sold as lot 147 in the Bruce French Benefit auction of September 1991. Label from the auction attached. G/VG. Estimate: £140/180 Hammer price: £120 Robinson scored his 187 against Pakistan in the first innings of the first Test played at Old Trafford in 1987. The match was weather affected and was drawn. Robinson was run out for 86 in the 1989 Benson & Hedges Cup Final v Essex. Nottinghamshire won the match by 3 wickets.
