Description

Right hand. Slazenger 'Coolback' cream, leather wicket-keeping glove worn by Maddocks during the Australian tour of England in 1956. Black, dimpled rubber palms, black adjustable strap on reverse. Two areas of knitted fabric inserted on back Maddocks played in seven Test matches for Australia between 1954 and 1957. He played in two Tests on the 1956 tour to England, standing in for the injured Langley. He was manager of the 1977 Australian team to England.
