Sleeveless, v-neck, cable knit sweater. Gold and red stripe, bordered with narrow black stripe at neck and waist. Name tag in neck ‘G O Allen’ with red stitches.
Possibly worn by Gubby Allen during 1948 tour of West Indies. Parfitt acquired it when he took over Denis Compton’s locker in 1958. Found in locker, so possibly worn by Compton as well.
