Description

Blazer worn by Tony Lewis whilst he captained England on a five month tour of India, Pakistan and Ceylon. Blazer is a dark navy blue with MCC colours (red and gold) run along the collar and edges the entire blazer, as well as the top of three pockets, and around the wrists. There is a breast pocket on the left of the blazer, and two deep hand pockets. There is the British crest on the breast pocket with the words "1972+Ind. Pak. Cey. = 1973" below the crest. The crest shows St George on a horse killing a dragon. The label "Tony Lewis" has been sown into the inne neck, underneath the DAKS logo, which is also on the inside left pocket. There are two button holes on the jacket, of which the upper button is missing.
