Description

Game played by the player representing the batting team spinning the scoring pencil (Pencil marked 1-6). Whatever number is displayed on on the upwards side is the number of runs awarded for that ball, which is then marked on the scoring pad. If the pencil shows 'Howzat?' the umpire's pencil must be spun to indicate the result of the appeal (eg lbw, not out, caught etc). If out, the player representing the batting team continues to spin the scoring pencil until all 11 of his players have batted. Teams then swap and the process is repeated in order to find a winner.
