Pakistan Helmet of Shahid Afridi After witnessing Shahid Afridi score 102 from just 46 deliveries against India at Kanpur in 2005, Indian commentator Ravi Shastri (who himself once struck six sixes in one over) gave him the nickname ‘Boom Boom’. Afridi took the nickname to heart and when he later went on to form his own cricket equipment company he gave it the name ‘Boom Boom Cricket’.
