Description

Red touring cricket coffin, or equipment case, metal edges and fittings and hardboard and Perspex sides. Black lining, two wheels on base and two handles. Branded ‘Vodaphone’ logo on outside, with player’s initials and name, maker’s name and ECB crest with three lions and a crown. Used during tour of South Africa.

It's got many travel stickers on it. I'd suggest it was used for subsequent tours. They don't dump these things. This was while he was captain - you can see one on here, 'N Hussain'. It was made in the UK. Sill in quite good condition. And these tour stickers are from South Africa. So there's various 'Holiday Inns' and everything else that they stayed at. ... This was someone who worked within the ECB sold it to me. [So it had been left behind]. Yeah. Boom. ... about 2004-2005."
