Australian Team in England, 1888 London Stereoscopic and Photographic Company Black and white photograph showing the Australian national cricket team, captained by Percy McDonnell, in England. Australia's Test win at Lord’s was the first over England since the Test match at Sydney in March 1885. In the eight years since the 1880 visit, this was Australia's second win in England, the other being the famous Test at the Oval in 1882. Kindly loaned by Marylebone Cricket Club Museum
