Description

Navy blue blazer with braid trimming edges in scarlet and gold. Badge on right breast pocket of St. George and the Dragon with scroll embroidered '1928 Australia 1929' in white threads.

Display caption

In 1903/04 Pelham Warner led the first MCC touring team to Australia. From that point until 1976/77 England sides touring overseas always toured as MCC, only playing as England in full international matches. England continued to play overseas in MCC colours until 1997.
