Portrait of Tiger Pataudi, 2006 Jennifer McRae (1959) Watercolour and pencil on paper Painted form life wearing his Vincent's Club tie, a tie worn exclusively by Oxford Blues at Oxford University by Scottish artist Jennifer McRae. The former Indian cricketer and captain was the 9th and last Nawab of Pataudi until 1971, when India abolished royal entitlements through the 26th Amendment to the Constitution of India. This portrait is typical of McRae’s delicate illustrative style. The artists other sitters include Michael Vaughn and Andy Flowers. MCC Collections: Commission, 2006 Object number: M.2006.110
