Performers on the album included Chris Spedding, Dave Cochran, Bill Bruford, Dave Gilmour, John Paul Jones, Steve Broughton, Dave Bedford, Ray Warleigh and the Grimethorpe Colliery Band. The front of the sleeve contains a photograph of a topless male cricketer walking with his bat. The reverse of the sleeve includes a panoramic view of Lord's Cricket Ground, pictures of a bat, ball and wicket, and an overview of the Laws of Cricket. The song 'When An Old Cricketer Leaves The Crease' is the only one whose lyrics refer to cricket, and the lyrics reference cricketers Geoffrey Boycott and J A Snow.
