1 33 RPM Record, 'Talking Cricket' Parts 9 and 10 produced by the South African Broadcasting Corporation Overseas Transcription Service. The record was compiled and narrated by Martin Young. Part 9 is 14 minutes 34 seconds long and discusses memories of great matches at Trent Bridge in Nottingham, Part 10 is 14 minutes 28 seconds long and discusses memories of great matches in the West Indies.

Part 9: Young introduces the record by talking about the history of Trent Bridge during the nineteenth century, W J O'Reilly talks about C J Barnett's innings of 126 for England against Australia in 1938 and almost being the first player to score a Test century before lunch (scoring 99), Len Hutton recalls playing against Australia at Trent Bridge in 1938, D G Bradman talks about S J McCabe's innings of 232 for Australia against England at Trent Bridge in 1938, D J McGlew talks about making his Test debut at Trent Bridge for South Africa against England in 1951 despite suffering from indigestion and helping South Africa win the match, A D Nourse talks about breaking his thumb in Bristol and then scoring 208 for South Africa against England with a broken thumb in 1951, Syd Buller talks about the England vs. Australia Test match at Trent Bridge in 1956 which was Syd Buller's first as an umpire, A V Bedser talks about his best performance in Test cricket for England vs. Australia in 1953 when he took match figures of 14 wickets for 99 runs, Bill Voce talks to Young about Harold Larwood.

Part 10: Young introduces the record, T G Evans talks about West Indian cricket spectators and gambling that took place among spectators during the matches, Len Hutton talks about touring the West Indies with MCC in 1953-1954 and making a double century in a Test match in Jamaica, Andrew Sandham talks about scoring 152 for England vs. West Indies at Barbados in 1929-1930, J B Statham talks about playing against the trio of Clyde Walcott, Frank Worrell and Everton Weekes, Wilfred Rhodes talks about the umpiring during the West Indies vs. England Test match at Georgetown in 1929-1930, G S Sobers talks about his innings of 365 not out for West Indies vs. Pakistan in 1957-1958 at Kingston (Sobers' innings broke the world record), F S Trueman talks about the MCC tour of West Indies in 1953-1954 and sharing a room with G A R Lock who used to talk in his sleep.
