Trading card depicting a coloured illustrated head and shoulders portrait of Wayne Larkins. He is wearing a white shirt and Northamptonshire v-neck cableknit sweater gold stripe in the centre of two maroon stripes trim. Series No.14.

Biography on reverse reads: "W. Larkins. Born at Roxton, Bedfordshire, Wayne "Ned" Larkins is an attractive right-handed top order batsman, right-arm medium pace bowler and fine fieldsman. He represented the county in 363 matches from 1972 to 1991 before moving to the new first-class county, Durham in 1992. He has scored 25,221 runs (av. 34.17) with 55 centuries, making a top score of 252 vs Glamorgan at Cardiff in 1983. He has taken 42 wickets (av. 44.23) with a best of 5 for 59 vs Worcestershire at New Road in 1984 and has held 284 catches. He has recorded 1,000 runs in a season 12 times with a best of 1,863 runs (av. 45.43) in 1982. Playing 13 Tests for England from 1979 to 1991 he scored 493 runs (av. 20.54) with a highest innings of 64 vs Australia at Melbourne in 1990/91. He has toured abroad 7 times including the first unofficial SAB England XI tour of South Africa in 1981/82 which reduced his Test opportunities during his best years. He continued the county's link with Port Elizabeth by representing Eastern Province from 1982/83 to 1983/84 in Currie Cup matches. For Durham in 1993 he hit 151 vs Australia at the University Ground in Ian Botham's final first-class match."
