Scope and Content

Postcard depicting a black and white photographic group portrait of Lancashire County Cricket Club in 1968. Nineteen players and coach are positioned in two rows. All players are wearing cricket whites, eight wear Lancashire v-neck cableknit sweaters with thin dark stripe in the centre of two dark stripes trim, nine wear Lancashire 2nd XI v-neck cableknit sweaters with rosebud crest on the chest, one wears a an MCC v-neck cableknit sweater with coloured striped trim, one wears a v-neck cableknit sweater with coloured striped trim. The coach wears a suit with Lancashire blazer with red rose crest on breast pocket. Located at edge of playing area with stand filling up with spectators immediately behind.
