Correspondence, memoranda and minutes relating to sponsorship of cricket and the introduction of sports councils, compiled by S C Griffith, MCC Secretary. Includes requests by Griffith to county secretaries to represent cricket at meetings of the Central Council of Physical Recreation, copy of minutes of the North West Regional Sports Council meeting held in October 1965, report of a meeting held at Taunton in November 1965 to consider the establishment of the South-Western Sports Council, minutes of a meeting with representatives of MCC and Horlicks Limited to discuss the possibility of Horlicks sponsoring schools cricket in 1966.
