Scope and Content
Cigarette card depicting a black and white photographic group portrait of Lancashire County Cricket Club. Twelve players are positioned in two rows. All players are wearing cricket whites, ten wear plain v-neck cableknit sweaters with thick dark trim, one wears a v-neck cableknit sweater with two-coloured trim, one wears oversized pads. Series No.185.

Biography on reverse reads: "One of the most successful teams of the day, Lancashire have been Champions on eleven occasions, 1879 (Joint), 1881, 1882 (Joint), 1889 (Joint), 1897, 1904, 1926, 1927, 1928, 1980 and 1984. The only Club to win the County and Minor County Championships in the same year, viz., 1934."
