Correspondence, memoranda, reports and newspaper cuttings relating to press facilities, compiled by the MCC Secretaries (Colonel R S Rait Kerr, R Aird). Includes a memorandum on the relationship between MCC and the press, memorandum on points raised at a conference with representatives of the Cricket Reporting Agency and of certain daily papers at Lord's in January 1937, notes on a meeting with W H Brookes of the Cricket Reporting Agency regarding efforts to improve relations between MCC and the press, memorandum of points arising from the press conference in June 1937 to discuss the administrative arrangements for the Test match, requests for the press to use telephones at Test venues, articles on the decision by Rait Kerr to enforce that press representatives not talk while sitting on the press benches, memorandum of press arrangements for the England vs. West Indies Test match in 1939, memorandum on a proposal to issue Pavilion passes to cricket correspondents of the local and national papers in 1953.
