Postcard depicting a sepia photograph looking across to the pavilion of North Marine Cricket Ground in Scarborough, likely taken from a flat bodering the ground. A cricket match is in action, tennis courts marked out on playing in foreground . Part of AY Series.

Message on reverse reads: "11:45 Sunday. Darling [?] E and I are sitting in Peasholm PK: it is a lovely morning at least I am sitting E is watching the birds, been feeding the ducks. G went to C all day yesterday generous crowd there. E and J went on S sands in the morning. Town & little train aft. tea in alexandra gardens on the green it was lovely. Lots of love Wm."

Sent to: Mr Pirson, 26 Alnwick Ave, Whitley Bay, Northumberland. Red George V one penny stamp with Scarborough postmark, 9 September 1934, 6 pm.
