Postcard depicting a black and white photograph of the Bat and Ball Inn in Hambledon. Two horse and carts with men standing beside them pose outside.

Message on reverse reads: "Some last night, also your message. Can't tell you his reply on a PC the place on the other side is where the 1st cricket match was played, all [?] only. Excuse pencil, ink unavailable. Hope you are having a good time as we are. Ping Pong."

Note on front reads: "Very many thanks we are all very much still, yours Willie."
