Scope and Content
Postcard depicting a black and white photographic group portrait of an Old England team at the Oval, twelve players and two umpires are positioned in three rows. All players are wearing cricket whites, seven are wearing MCC tour blazers with striped trim and St. George and dragon crest on breast pocket, one is wearing a Surrey blazer with S and ostrich feather crest on breast pocket, two are wearing plain blazers, one is wearing a light and dark coloured blazer, one is wearing a blazer with light coloured trim and obscured crest, three are wearing white cravats. The two umpires are wearing suits and white overcoats. Located at edge of playing area with stand in immediate background.
