Scope and Content
Scrapbook of newspaper cuttings and magazine articles relating to cricket matches between 1930 and 1934, containing articles on England vs. Australia Test matches in England, articles on D G Bradman, matches involving Surrey County Cricket Club. The scrapbook includes a copy of the cricket verse 'The Old Pavilion Bell' by Herbert Farjeon, cutting of a copy of the facsimile of a letter to J B Hobbs from the King congratulating Hobbs on scoring 127 centuries. The back page contains pictures of a worm being removed from the Test match wicket, and a bird's nest in the stumps during a long interval.
