Postcard depicting a sepia photograph of a match taking place at North Marine Road Cricket Ground, Scarborough. The bowler has just completed his delivery, pavilion to the right and stands filled with spectators, houses on hills in distance. Postcard No.L5143.

Message on reverse reads: "Dear Dad & Ruth. [?] our time is getting very short here but we have had a nice time. Been to cricket matches twice & George has shown us pictures. There are only 5 of us in this week but one coming tonight & two tomorrow night be round about 10 pm when we come home. Kind regards John."

Sent to: Mr H Jackson, Up Rd., Ingbirchworth, Penistone, Nr Sheffield. One maroon Queen Elizabeth II two penny stamp and one red Elizabeth II half penny stamp with Scarborough postmark, 2 September 1960.
