Scope and Content

Postcard depitcting a black and white photographic group portrait of Derbyshire County Cricket Club in 1931, eleven players are positioned in two rows. All players are wearing cricket whites, four wear Derbyshire blazers with flower and crown crest on breast pocket, one wears a three-coloured striped Free Foresters blazer, one wears an MCC touring blazer with St. George and dragon crest on breast pocket and double-striped trim, one wears a plain dark blazer, four blazer crests are obscured. Five wear v-neck sweaters with striped trim, nine wear Derbyshire caps with flower and crown crest on the front, one wears pads. Raised platform of a pavilion in background.
