Scope and Content
Postcard depicting a black and white photographic group portrait of Sussex County Cricket Club in 1938, twelve players and scorer are positioned in two rows. All players are wearing cricket whites, two wear Sussex blazers with martlet crest on breast pocket, two wear MCC touring blazers with St. George and dragon crest on breast pocket and double-striped trim, one wears an Oxford University blazer with initials crest on breast pocket, one wears a three-coloured striped blazer, one wears a blazer with thin light stripes, two wear blazers with unknown crests, three blazer crests are obscured, three wear Sussex caps with martlet crest on the front. The scorer wears an overcoat and flat cap. Fencing in background.
