Scope and Content
Postcard depicting a black and white photographic group portrait of Surrey Cricket Club, twelve players are positioned in two rows. All players are wearing cricket whites, six wear Surrey blazers with 'S' crest on breast pocket, one wears a blazer of the 1901-1902 England Tour in Australia with checkeed trim, three blazers have crest obscured, one wears a round-neck sweater, eleven wear Surrey caps with 'S' crest on the front. Blank background.

Message on reverse reads: "Have been to the Oval today to see Surrey v Middlesex which ended in a draw. It was showery at time. Hope to hear from you soon. Of course I have done with Basing now. Will soon be "alington"[?] Yours ever F."

Sent to: Miss Roberts, Gawcombe, Nr Chipping Norton, Oxon. Green Edward VII half penny stamp with Stockwell postmark, 10 August 1907, 8 pm.
