Scope and Content
Postcard depicting three photographic portraits of Herbert Strudwick, Thomas Hayward, Len Braund and Dick Lilley. Strudwick is crouching at the wicket in keeping pose with hands out, he is wearing cricket whites, Surrey cap with 'S' crest on the front, gauntlet keeping gloves and pads, mound and wall in background. Hayward is taking guard at the wicket, he is wearing cricket whites, Surrey cap with 'S' crest on the front, pads and belt, two-coloured wall in background. Braund is standing at the wicket holding a cricket ball by his waist, his left hand is on his waist, he is wearing cricket whites, cap of the 1901-1902 England Tour to Australia with royal family crest on the front and belt. Two-coloured wall with housing behind in background. Lilley is crouching at the wicket in keeping pose with hands out, he is wearing cricket whites, Warwickshire cap with bear crest on the front, gauntlet keeping gloves and pads, tent in background with housing behind. All are located at Hove County Ground.
