Scope and Content
Postcard depicting a black and white photographic group portrait of the England and Australian cricket teams who played at the fifth Test at the Kennington Oval in 1905, twenty-seven players are positioned in four rows. Two wear MCC touring blazers with St. George and dragon crest on breast pocket, two wear blazers of the 1901-1902 England Tour to Australia with checkered trim, seven wear Australian blazers with coat of arms on the front, one wears a white or cream coloured blazer and one wears a three-coloured striped blazer, the remaining blazers have their crests obscured. Seven wear MCC touring cap with St. George and dragon crest on the front, eight wear Australian baggy green caps with coat of arms on the front, one wears a Yorkshire cap with white rose crest on the front, six wear straw boaters, one wears a floppy sun hat, one cap has a undistinguished crest. Positioned in front of a brick wall to a building. Located at Kennington Oval.

Text at bottom of front states: "Trumper & Carter Sports Depot, 108 Market Street, City, 'Phone 2397."
