Postcard depicting a black and white photographic group portrait of Yorkshire Cricket Team in 1903, twelve players are positioned in three rows. All players are wearing cricket whites, nine are wearing Yorkshire blazers with white rose crest on breast pocket, one wears a Lord Hawke's blazer, one wears a three-coloured striped blazer and one wears an Incogniti blazer. Eleven wear Yorkshire caps with white rose crest on the front and one wears a Yorkshie cap with initials crest on the front. Positioned in front of hedging.

Message on reverse reads: "Jan 21/05 Dear Ceissy Just a [?] to ask how you are getting on, have not had time to come & see you may get up on monday night I have rang George up & times not been able to get [?] he as been out. With love [?]"

Sent to: Mrs Turner, 27 Dorst Terrace, Harehills House, Rounday Road, Leeds. Green Edward VII half penny stamp with Leeds postmark, 21 January 1905, 2 pm.
