Scope and Content
Postcard depicting a black and white photographic group portrait of Gloucestershire Cricket Team standing in a straight line in with hands by waists or in pockets, situated on playing area. All eleven players are wearing cricket whites, two are wearing white cravats, four wear belts, one wears an England home cap with three lions crest on the front and three wear caps with no or un-distinguishable crests, the wicket-keeper wears gauntlet keeping gloves and pads. Spectators and a marquee in background No.29.

Message on reverse reads: "Just to let you know I go tbavkc all right after a jolly evening. I sent a dozen roses by post this morning. Season is practically over now. I also sent to London for it, by tonights post. You ought to hear anytime tomorrow evening or after. If alls well I hope to see ou tomorrow but not if at all [?] for rain. It was quite a [?] when I found a typed envelope in the box tonight but it was only from Painter. Hopu sre well. How did the types work?"
