Scope and Content
Postcard depicting a black and white photographic group portrait of Surrey County Cricket Club, twelve players and manager are positioned in three rows. All players are wearing cricket whites, seven wear a variety of striped blazers, five wear plain blazers, ten wear boaters and one wears a light cap, the manager is wearing a suit. Situated in front of a stone wall with hedging. Located at Hove County Ground.

Message on front reads: "Dear Leslie. Father and I are going to see "The Schoolgirl" tomorrow night at the Prince of Wales Theatre. rather hot. 30.6.1903."

Sent to: L.H. Aste, Northdown Hill School, Cliftonville, Margate. Green Edward VII half penny stamp with Bromley postmark, 20 June 1903, 6:15 pm.
