Scope and Content
Postcard depicting a black and white photographic portrait of Lord Hawke taking guard at the wicket. He is wearing cricket whites, Yorkshire cap with white rose crest on the front, skeleton pads, v-neck sweater with the trim at neck and waist, leather tubing glove on his left hand and rubber skeleton on his right hand. Fence with trees behind in background. Located at Scarborough Cricket Ground.

Message on reverse: "Keeping beautifully fine, H.C."

Sent to: Miss J. Sharpe, Bon Marche, King Street, Bridlington. Green Edward VII half penny stamp with Scarborough postmark, 4 September 1903, 1 pm.
