Postcard depicting a black and white photographic portrait of Thomas Hayward taking guard at the wicket. He is wearing cricket whites, Surrey cap, pads and a belt. Blurred buildings in background. Located at Hove County Ground.

Message on reverse reads: "Dear Will, I will meet on the Hoe (top of Lockyer St) at 3:30 pm to-morrow. If I am not there by 4:00 come on here to tea. With Love Reggie. p.s. Do you recognise me???"
