Scope and Content
Scrapbook contains coloured and black and white lithograph prints of famous 19th century cricketers. Artists and Lithographers include John Anderson, Charles Basebe, C. Hunt, Leslie Ward, Carlo Pellegrini, Henry Wright and Libero Prosperi, Series include 'Sketches at Lord's' and 'Men of the Day' for Vanity Fair.

Title Page: ‘Laying Down a new Wicket’ Cricket Field, 31 December 1892, 3 Indians nail down a carpet to be used as a cricket pitch. Cut-outs of 3 fielders. 2 cut-outs of reverse of a fielder. 2 engraved head portraits of George Osbaldeston and Edward Budd.
