Scope and Content
1 film, Cricket Centenary Stamps presented by the Post Office. The film shows Ted Riveley, designer and lecturer, arriving at Lord's via the Grace Gates and walking through the Pavilion Concourse to meet with Stephen Green, MCC Curator, at the MCC Library to perform research on county cricket for a set of stamps to be produced by the Post Office, commemorating the centenary of the County Championship. Riveley then visits the MCC Museum to look at the items on display. The film includes footage of W G Grace, Jack Hobbs, Len Hutton, Jim Laker and Denis Compton playing cricket, and images of the stamps - adaptations of illustrations by Harry Furniss of W G Grace.

The film is in colour and includes audio. There are two versions of the film - one in full colour and one with discolouration. The conversion was provided by Beaulieu Film and Video.
