Curator's correspondence (Diana Rait Kerr, Stephen Green) relating to museum items refused by MCC. Subjects include requests to have first refusal of the bat which Wilfred Rhodes used during the 1911-1912 MCC tour of Australia, consideration of items for the MCC Collection, research into pottery figures, offers of bats to MCC which were declined, requests for information about a pottery jug which included Herbert Sutcliffe's image, letter from Gilbert Jessop's son regarding his father's bat on display in the Memorial Gallery, offer by MCC to purchase a handkerchief detailing all Jack Hobbs' records, list of accessions in 1970 for the magazine 'Collectors Guide', estimates for supplying an oak board with the MCC monogram showing the inscription 'The Cricket Memorial Gallery' with samples.
