Curator's correspondence (Diana Rait Kerr, Stephen Green) relating to Major Rowland Bowen, founder of The Cricket Quarterly. Subjects include an article [possibly an obituary] on Bowen by Andrew Joseph, requests by Bowen for copies of Wisden, notes on Gentleman vs. Players matches, proposed changes to the MCC Diary, Bowen's idea to publish a sixteenth volume of Haygarth's 'Scores and Biographies', suggestion by Bowen that the issues of 'Cricket and Football Times' be microfilmed which was rejected by MCC, enquiries regarding first-class status, requests for information from the Curator, notification of errors in publications including Pelham Warner's book 'Lord's', decision by MCC not to continue their subscription to 'The Cricket Quarterly' in 1967.
