Curator's [Diana Rait Kerr] correspondence relating to collection of 19 autographed cricket bats purchased by Edgar Assheton Bennett and presented to MCC. Of the 19 bats 6 were kept and 13 passed on to the counties which were represented on each respective bat: Hampshire, Sussex, Essex, Kent, Surrey, Derbyshire, Worcester, Gloucestershire, Lancashire, Nottinghamshire, Somerset, Leicestershire.
