Curator [Diana Rait Kerr and Stephen Green] and MCC [Colonel R Rait Kerr, R Aird and S C Griffith, Secretary and J G Dunbar, Assistant Secretary] correspondence, notes, photographic proofs and invoices relating to reproduction of images in the MCC Collections and information and editing requested by publishers, organisations and individuals. Subjects include copyright and Sports and General Press Agency, excerpt from volume 'the Survey of London' relating to the history of the Oval, literature references to Lord's Cricket Ground and early cricket in books 'The Life and Times of Frederick Reynolds' by F Reynolds, [1826] 'Pedestrianism' by W Thorn [1813] and 'Memoirs of William Hickey' edited by A Spencer [1913] and poem 'Cricket: A Heroic Poem' by James Love written in 1770 [May 1950]. Also includes completed forms 'application for photographs from MCC photograph library', 'conditions for reproduction of exhibits in the MCC Collections' and 'conditions for reproduction of MCC pictures' and excerpt 'Lord's and the MCC' written by D Rait Kerr for the 'London Diary' and leaflets advertising 1958 'London Diary'.
