Description

Bat with treble-sprung handle and red rubber grip. Two irregular shaped holes through the blade. Newspaper cutting on reverse.

Display caption

This bat was sent by Mr Lottinga from F. Hill, of MCC, to Sgt. Piggott in France. Damaged by shell-fire before being used, a replacement bat was requested and duly sent.
